Neon Heels

Outfit: Shorts - H&M, Neon Heels - Cathy Jean, Top - Forever 21

Sorry about my picture today. We were having some technical difficulties with the camera and instead of the outfits being in focus the back ground is. But hey, maybe it's a nice change-up. I couldn't bring myself to not share this outfit because I love it so much and you guys have never seen my neon heels! Mistakes happen.

I got these shoes in December on MEGA sale from Cathy Jean. My thought was there were left over from the summer months and that is why they were 70%. I wish you guys could see just how bright they are. With my camera malfunction, the shoes really aren't being done justice (I'll have to show you another way I like to wear them to make up for it).

Lucky for you guys, I was in Cathy Jean recently and saw that they still have a few sizes of these in the sale section! If I were you guys I wouldn't pass on these. I can not tell you how comfortable they are! Not to mention neon is everywhere this season. I guarantee you will be getting good use out of them.

Let me know if you guys end of finding a perfect neon heel. I'm on the lookout for a second pair :-)

A Fall Color Block Shoe

Outfit: Shoes - Kohls ($30), Skirt - H&M ($25), Top - H&M ($18)

We have seen the very popular color block trend take the world by storm this year. During Spring and Summer this look was achieved with bold primary colors, a look that I, personally, adored. About a month ago I came across these shoes. The colors are so beautiful and basic, I instantly fell in love from across the store when my eyes spotted them. Naturally, I had to have them. Otherwise, I knew the rest of my day would consist of me wallowing over the fact that I left that store without these shoes.

I love that these shoes achieve a color block with a completely neutral pallet, something I have actually never seen before. Moreover, whoever designed this shoe really knew a woman's body because the strap in front of the ankle is a nude color, which works great to extend the look of legs rather than shorten them.

These shoes are quickly becoming a staple to my closet. What do you guys think?

Fall Color Block

Outfit: Pink Button-up - H&M ($15), Shorts - H&M ($18), Belt - Vintage Brighton ($10), Boots - Cathy Jean ($100)

A huge fashion trend this summer was color block outfits. Now that fall is rapidly approaching I am not quite ready to give up on the look. Instead, I had decided to find other ways to adapt the trend to weather. I must say, while it has still been warm, I have been very excited to pull out my boots two whole days. Never mind the fact, when I put them on it was foggy and when they fog wore off I felt like my feet were in a sauna. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices right?

I also want to make a note that in my post about the my Niles Flea Market purchases I absentmindedly left out this great vintage Brighton belt I picked up for $10. It is hard to tell here, but the back is made of fabulous thick silver chains. When I found it in a pile of belts it didn't look like much until my Step-Mom suggested it try it on. Not only was it a perfect fit, but looked totally different sitting on my body then lying among other belts. Only further proving my theory that you can...

never judge clothing by the hanger.
