So Romantic...

Outfit: Dress - Urban Outfitters ($19.99), Necklace - Vintage ($2), Belt - H&M ($8) Wedges - Michael Antonio ($16)

Have I told you lately how I feel about the colors red and orange lately? I just can't seem to stop wearing them. Maybe it's the Christmas season that has me seeing red. Whatever it is, it doesn't seem to be stoping anytime soon.

So, I discovered a little secret I'd like to fill you all in on. Its no secret I love to shop online (I love to shop anywhere really). Urban Outfitters always has great sales whether you are in the store or shopping online. When I am feeling too lazy to drive out to Urban I turn on my computer and start shopping. I put several items in my bag, including this dress. However, I decided to wait on purchasing them in order to stop in the store the next day to see what I could find.

When I went to UO I discovered that everything I wanted online was not only in the store but it was marked down even more than it was online. This dress for example was, and still is, $49.99 online, however, if you can find it in the store it is only $19.99. A $30 difference! To me, thats quite a bit. In fact, everything I saw online was cheaper in the store. Moral of the story? If you can get to a store to purchase items from UO, it is probably well worth your time. No shipping and cheaper still!

Just a little bit about why I love this dress. These 3/4 length bell sleeves are so beautiful! I find when I wear this dress that the mix of the flowers, chiffon and bell sleeves makes me feel so romantic. I feel like I am channeling a modern day Juliet. And I like that feeling, without the whole tortured love thing.

The Eiffel Tower and Me

Outfit: Top - Forever 21($15), Skirt - Forever 21 ($14), Socks - Forever 21 ($3), Boots - Cathy Jean ($100)

If you know me personally, then you know very well that I have a little obsession with anything and everything dealing with the Eiffel Tower. Ever since I was a young girl, I have been so infatuated with its structure, beauty and the sense of romance the Eiffel Tower encompasses. Walking into my room, this is an easily observable fact. So naturally, when I came across this sweater I  had to have it.

It is an added bonus that I am completely in love with this crew neck, sweatshirt style of top. Its so comfy, yet with some added accessories, completely chic. Luckily California, tends to have a mild winter  so I was able to pair this sweater with a bright red skirt and socks to stay comfortable.

Another cool element this sweater contains (that may not be noticeable at first) is that it actually has shoulder pads. Clearly, they are not outrageous or huge, but I do believe they make a slight difference to how the garment fits and falls. The shoulder pads  are just one more element that make this sweater unique.

PS - I know this is the season of giving, however, retail stores have been having amazing deals and sales all month. So while you are out shopping for others, treat yourself to a little something also. The season of giving doesn't exclude giving to yourself, right?

Follow on Facebook, where I will be posting all the sales I happen to come across :)

A Very Bright Fall

Outfit: Sweater - H&M ($2), Oxfords - Target ($18), Button-Up - Forever 21 ($15), Clutch - H&M ($12)

I know people tend to think you can't bring bright colors into fall or winter, however, I 100% disagree. The other day while sale shopping at H&M I came across this cropped, button-up sweater in both green and black. Nine times out of ten I pick the black one, however, one of the most scarce colors in my closet is green so I stepped out of my comfort zone and purchased the green one.

I am so glad I got the green one because I love wearing bright colors with neutrals during fall and winter. Last year, I bought a bright pink sweater and I wear it all the time when it is cold. It's also quite fun to stand out in a sea of nude during cool seasons.

So my friends, make sure you hit the store selling summer looks for extremely low prices. You may just find something you can wear all year round :)

P.S. I love this buttoned up school boy look. Such a refreshing change from the "school girl" look you often see.

Black, White and Pops of Color All Over

Outfit: White Jeans - H&M($40), Black Clogs - Target ($12), Bag - H&M($35), Black Tank - Foreign Exchange ($10), Gold Vest ($25)

Before I get into the theme of this post, I'd like to fill you guys in on an amazing SALE going on right now at Target. Immediately, after you read this (and follow/like The Fleur if you haven't already) run to Target because the black clogs that I am wearing in this post and the brown ones in the post above are on sale now for only $6! I can personally tell you that these shoes are the perfect casual heel. I wore them ALL DAY in Napa last week and my feet didn't ache one bit. Cute and comfortable for $6? Get in your car, get online, do what you have to do before they are sold out!

Okay now that I have filled you in on possibly the best deal of the week in stores, I want to remind you all of how important it is to have basic black and white pieces in your closet at all times. It's no secret I am obsessed with interesting accessories, and my favorite canvas to display them on is black and white. I picked up this vest at H&M last Christmas and I love it because unlike most sequin clothing, the sequins on this vest are matte making it a daytime piece. When I wear this vest, it's the main part of my outfit that I want to catch people's eye. What better way to do that than over a basic pallet? I just add a few fun jewelry pieces to complete my look.

Remember guys, black and white will never go out of style. So it is a great thing to invest in :)
